Quick answers before you specify
Fixed GLOW-D downlights suit corridors, lobbies and general light where nothing moves. Tiltable IRIS heads suit displays, mannequins and shelving that staff re-aim by season.
UGR rates discomfort glare: lower is calmer. UGR22 suits shops and hotels, while offices usually demand UGR19. The UGR retrofit guide shows how to get there without killing light levels.
Existing wall dimmers take the KOLA-S TRIAC spotlight. Wire-free scene control takes the DL01-BLE mesh downlight. New commercial builds usually take wired DALI. The dimming guide compares all three.
Recessed heads need cutouts and ceiling depth. The IRIS-S surface downlight mounts on concrete or thin ceilings with no cutout and still tilts for aiming.
